Creating Global Change

The IHF is a model-based organization. Rather than working on a single issue, such as healthcare or housing or micro-enterprise, we form partnerships between students and young leaders in the US and communities in the Global South. In the context of these partnerships, community members identify the issues that they believe are important and they work with volunteers in the US to design and implement innovative ways of addressing those issues. In the US, this model takes the form of campus chapters - groups of students at college and university campuses that work with specific parters abroad.
